After months of development, The Protein Works has announced that its new sports nutrition brand is now open for business. According to the company, the launch product range boasts ‘over 45 cutting-edge supplements for those looking to achieve their fitness goals the right way.’
The Protein Works is positioned as an original and new sports nutrition brand. It is created by three senior ex-directors of major online sports nutrition brand Myprotein.com. Based in North West England, the The Protein Works’ co-founders are Mark Coxhead, Karl Jacobie and Nick Smith.
As the new company points out, ‘Not backed by a major corporate organisation or by equity, The Protein Works is funded purely by ourselves so we never have to compromise on our ideals or customer needs.’
Also launched is The Protein Works ‘Create Your Own Formula’ feature, which gives customers the chance to create their very own exclusive formula to meet their own needs.
Protein Works co-founder Mark Coxhead, said, “We use all natural flavours and colours in our protein shakes and refuse to use any thickeners or fillers. Put simply, we believe premium grade, natural ingredients deliver the best results.”
To help kick off consumers’ 2013 training, the company has launched a New Year Protein Sale. The sale is live until 3 January 2013 (or whilst promo stocks last). Offering up to 25% off 8 different proteins, Protein Works points out that now is the ideal time to stock up on whey protein, soy protein, casein or even get a variety of different flavours such as its best-selling Cherry Bakewell or Lemon Cheesecake.
The Protein Works notes that its core ingredient of protein is considered a staple in absolutely every athlete’s diet, and is needed for everything from muscle growth to muscular repair; and studies have shown it plays a key role when trying to the lower percentage body fat.
