Barclays bank, a current supporter of Julia’s House Hospice, has donated an entry for this year’s Challenge Weymouth for one lucky competition winner.
The Challenge Weymouth team is working with Julia’s House, The Dorset Children’s Hospice, which will be the official charity partner at the inaugural UK event on 14 September 2014.
Julia’s House is the first and only hospice in Dorset for children with life-limiting conditions. The hospice provide nurses and carers for children, either in the hospice itself or in the comfort of their own home. The team also provides support for the rest of the child’s family, enabling them to cope better at a very difficult time.
Athletes now have the chance to win a charity place at Challenge Weymouth and raise money for the official charity partner.
As the race entry has been donated by Barclays, there’s no entry cost to the winner at all. All the organisers ask is that the lucky winner pledges to fundraise (£1000) for Julia’s House Hospice.
To win this place with Julia’s House, all athletes need to do is answer the following question and write the answer on the Challenge Weymouth Facebook Page by 17:00 GMT next Tuesday 13 May.

One lucky winner will be picked from a prize draw, and notified via social media on Wednesday 14 May.
