British Triathlon and Loughborough University are looking for an enthusiastic and highly skilled Director of Triathlon to lead both the world class (Olympic and Paralympic Triathlon) and University programmes at Loughborough.
The new position aims to build ‘a stable, cohesive and world leading triathlon training environment’ at Loughborough University. The new Director will lead a team of coaches to create a single training and athlete development system on campus that meets individual athlete needs and allows them to maximise their performance potential.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of coaching and developing high performance in an endurance sport. The Director will need to be able to mould a small group of coaches and support practitioners in to a high functioning team that delivers cutting edge practice in triathlon performance. They will also need to design a programme to recruit talented triathletes, both student and non-student performers, to Loughborough.
The post holder will be employed by the University but the work programme of the Director will be determined by a joint group comprising BTF and LU staff high performance staff.
