The 2014 triathlon season will feature more professional athletes riding ENVE wheels and components than ever before. Utah-based ENVE Composites’ addition of over a dozen professional triathletes to its team roster emphasizes the company’s commitment to growing its presence in triathlon.
The expanded roster of sponsored triathletes in 2014 follows hot on the heels from the recent announcement by USPro Tri, the American professional triathlete team, that it has a new partnership in place with ENVE for 2014.
ENVE has invested heavily over the past several years to produce products that cater to the needs of triathletes. Specifically, the Smart ENVE System is the company’s product line developed in partnership with aerodynamicist Simon Smart.
ENVE Marketing Manager Jake Pantone said, “The momentum we are seeing as a brand in triathlon is very exciting. Vetting the sponsorship requests this year has been both humbling and challenging due to the vast number of talented athletes wishing to ride ENVE.
“When an athlete believes your product will support them in achieving their goals, they become authentic ambassadors for the brand. We are excited to have these athletes as part of the ENVE family.”
