Expanding sales team for Honey Stinger

Honey Stinger, the manufacturer of honey-based nutritional products, has announced two new additions to its sales team. Jerard Whitehead will assume the role of Grocery Category Manager and Shannon Lane has taken on a new role within Honey Stinger as a Key Account Manager for the sports and outdoor categories.

“We are thrilled to announce these two new hires to support Honey Stinger’s growth across all sales categories,” said Jennifer Shea, Honey Stinger’s National Sales Manager. “Jerard comes to Honey Stinger with over 25 of experience in grocery sales and elevates our sales program to support tremendous growth for our brand. Shannon has excelled in her current role and we are looking forward to her continued growth and performance.”

Jerard Whitehead joins Honey Stinger from Market Connection Group, where he was the Western Regional Sales Manager for Amy & Brian’s Coconut Water in addition to six other grocery brands. Prior to that, he developed the grocery operations and marketing strategies for Whole Foods Rocky Mountain.

Shannon Lane has been named Honey Stinger’s new key account manager for NCAA and professional team accounts, bicycle distribution chains, as well as sporting goods and health & fitness retailers.
