NextGreatTrip, in partnership with the USA Pro Challenge, will offer a first-of-its-kind opportunity for a small number of cycling enthusiasts to experience ‘America’s Race’ in true VIP style – via private charter jet on 17-24 August. The eight-day journey will transport participants to each stage of the professional cycling race, as well as offer them the exclusive perspective of cycling celebrity and trip host, Ron Kiefel.
Kiefel, a seven-time Tour de France racer, Olympic cycling bronze medallist, member of the US Bicycling Hall of Fame and international cycling commentator, will ride with guests throughout the week and offer insight into the USA Pro Challenge.
The ‘Fly the Challenge’ experience is an eight day, seven-night VIP experience departing on 17 August from Colorado’s Centennial Airport, and returning on 24 August. The package includes:
- 5 charter flights between each host city from VIP private airport terminals (Aspen, Crested Butte, Colorado Springs, Vail and Denver/Boulder) aboard a luxurious 30-seat Dornier-328 Jet; flight durations range from 15-35 minutes
- 7 nights of lodging at luxurious hotels within each destination
- The opportunity to drive alongside the riders in a VIP caravan car during one stage of the race
- Access to VIP viewing & hospitality tents at every stage
- Invitations to exclusive VIP parties during race week
- Opportunity to meet and interact with some of the world’s best professional cyclists
- Unique chance to ride two race stages prior to the pros (NextGreatTrip will transport guests’ bikes throughout the week using a dedicated ‘SAG wagon’)
- On-site NextGreatTrip staff support throughout the trip to serve as a resource and personal concierge
Denver-based NextGreatTrip is a premium vacation service that ‘orchestrates thoughtfully crafted experiences via charter flights to iconic, and often difficult-to-access destinations.’
“Our business is about creating experiences of a lifetime, and it’s a thrill for us to highlight what we do best through an event that’s not only on the world’s radar, but also happens to be in our own backyard,” said Founder and CEO of Denver-based NextGreatTrip, Tom Filippini.
“We’re honoured to partner with the USA Pro Challenge on such an exciting experience, and offer not only a great opportunity to view every stage of one of the world’s premier cycling events, but also so many beautiful parts of our amazing state.”
The USA Pro Challenge, taking place on 18-24 August, is one of the largest cycling events in US history and the largest spectator event to ever take place in Colorado. Over the course of seven consecutive days, the fourth-annual USA Pro Challenge will begin in Aspen and end in Denver, spotlighting the best-of-the-best in professional cycling across the majestic Colorado Rockies.
“Spectators are at the heart of the USA Pro Challenge – without them, we wouldn’t have a race – so we are always looking for ways to enhance the viewing experience,” said Shawn Hunter, CEO of the USA Pro Challenge. “This exclusive opportunity for fans to follow the race and travel to each stage via a chartered jet, while gaining this high level of access, is a really unique experience.”
