With the aim ‘to provide unparalleled peace of mind and convenience to triathletes across North America’, TriBike Transport (TBT), ‘triathlon’s first fully assembled bike transport’ specialist, and Endurance Sports Travel (EST), a leading endurance and triathlon tour company, have announced a new partnership.
Under the new deal, TBT will offer an exclusive discount to all North American customers using EST for all races that both companies service.
“We have been discussing this partnership for some time now, and finally have the protocols in place,” said Marc Lauzon, founder and President of TriBike Transport. “EST and TBT are complementary services that are both aimed at providing unmatched peace of mind and convenience to athletes traveling to a triathlon. It makes perfect sense to combine our efforts to deliver a superior experience to our customers.”
Marc added, “We’re honoured to be partnering with such an esteemed company and look forward to a beneficial partnership for all.”
“Any athlete looking for the premium service we provide would be remiss not to use TBT to further eliminate any travel hardships,” said Ken Glah, founder and President of Endurance Sports Travel. “The combination of our services along with those provided by TBT allows athletes to focus on what’s really important; their race.”
As noted by the companies, the result of the partnership is simple: when EST customers sign up for bike transport with TriBike Transport, they will be given US$50 off regular pricing. Athletes must be signed up for EST prior to redeeming the discount for bike transport.
All athletes using both services will have their bikes delivered to their hotel pre-race, an extension of the luxury service they already receive from EST. These two services combined ‘equate to a stress and worry-free race experience for athletes.’
TriBike Transport (TBT) provides safe, stress-free and competitively priced round-trip bicycle transportation to triathlon and cycling events. Bicycles are transported fully-assembled via TBT’s trusted partner shop network and professional drivers. This aims to ease the burden on athletes – allowing them to focus fully on their race preparations.
The spring of 2005 marked the official launch of TriBike Transport at Ironman Arizona and the business has continued to grow. In March 2012, TBT extended its deal with WTC to become the Official Bike Transport Partner of Ironman and Ironman 70.3, servicing all WTC-owned North American IM and IM 70.3 events.
With 30 years of triathlon travel and racing experience, Ken Glah’s Endurance Sports Travel believes a world-class event deserves world-class services such as private airport transfers, guided course tours, a professional bike mechanic, 24 hour on call staff, translators and local hosts, daily local transportation, organized day trips and even a hospitality area for family members on race day.
Endurance Sports Travel has tour packages and race entries for many sold out Ironman races around the world. The company’s main goal is ‘exceptional customer service so whether you are traveling with us for the first time or the 10th time, we will do our absolute best to help you achieve your goals.’
