One of the world’s most decorated female triathletes, Leanda Cave, will share her knowledge of the sport she loves with the launch of her first triathlon camp – giving athletes the chance to interact with her on a personal level. The first tri-camp to take place at Club Med Sandpiper Bay, Florida, on 5-8 February 2015.

The four-time world champion, who boasts 32 triathlon victories, will cover numerous topics during the camp – including mental training, skills and drills for maximum performance, race day nutrition, and essential recovery.

“I’m very excited to be teaming up with the Club Med Academy, Club Med Sandpiper Bay and renowned USA triathlon coach Kris Swarthout for my inaugural training camp,” said Miami based Leanda Cave.

She continued, “I would like to pass on my experience and knowledge to those who are looking to improve their performance in triathlon. This camp will enable athletes of all abilities to have one-on-one time with me and to be part of training workouts that will help them learn my tricks of the trade.”

The training camp will take place at the all-inclusive Club Med Sandpiper Bay Resort. Amenities includes a premier fitness centre, spa, six-lane outdoor lap pool, a secluded open water swim course, some great bike roads around Port St-Lucie and a turf soccer field for functional workouts.
