Galius Sport, the specialist sports brand of sunscreen and massage oils and gels, will continue supporting the Movistar pro cycling squad after another very successful season.
Galius Sport, conceived in 1998 as a laboratory specialising in effective and innovative solutions for both top sportspeople, physiotherapists and amateurs, has renewed its collaboration agreement with the Movistar Team.
The sunscreen and massage oil brand has been supporting the squad since 2010, offering its full line-up of products to improve the team’s performance on the road.
Galius Sport’s products are devoted to improving musculature care as well as contributing to sporting success. According to the company, this has ‘kept both riders and carers from the Movistar Team more than satisfied, becoming an excellent solution at the very top of professional sport.’
Pablo Lastras, the Spanish pro cyclist and domestique on the Movistar team expressed his satisfaction with the renewal. “Their sunscreens are marvellous,” he said. “The product keeps a barrier so sweat doesn’t roll through your face and disturb you!”
Members of Galius Sport’s management team explained that ‘the fact that the Movistar Team came to us when they started their current sponsorship agreement to have us aboard was a honour – it’s a top team, full of professionals and sportspeople that pursue success every day.”
For Galius Sport, its collaboration with Eusebio Unzué’s squad has been a satisfactory partnership to date. Galius Sport notes that ‘These years have been really fruitful for us both. The whole Movistar Team contributed to our R+D with their suggestions, and we’ve been able to design products that nowadays cover all the needs of an elite sportsman. We couldn’t have any better support.’
