Kinetic Trainers is celebrating its extension of a one year sponsorship agreement with Ironman World Champion Frederik Van Lierde through to 2016 with ‘a Rock and Roll giveaway’.
At the beginning of 2013, Kinetic was excited to sign professional triathlete Frederik Van Lierde to a two-year deal. Now, in 2014, Kinetic ‘is ecstatic that Van Lierde will be a Kinetic sponsored athlete for three more years.’
To celebrate the sponsorship extension, Kinetic is giving away a Kinetic Rock and Roll trainer, turntable riser ring and trainer mat to the triathlon fan who comes the closest to guessing Van Lierde’s total bike time at this Saturday’s Abu Dhabi International Triathlon.
“Frederik is a salt of the earth, dedicated, easy to work with guy; all traits that we feel represent our brand,” said Kinetic Marketing Manager David Simpson. “Plus, he’s a star athlete! We want to celebrate his hard work, by giving a lucky fan one of our trainers.”
Van Lierde was the 2007 European ITU Long Distance champion; the 2011 and 2012 Ironman France Champion and record holder. He won the 2011 Abu Dhabi International Triathlon; and then earned a step on the podium at the 2012 Hawaii Ironman World Championships.
2013 turned out to be a stellar season for Van Lierde. He won the Abu Dhabi International Triathlon for the second time, became a 3-time Ironman France champion and set a new record, and won the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.
Athletes keen to participate in the Kinetic Trainers celebration can visit the Frederik Van Lierde contest page at www.kurtkinetic.com/guessmytime, enter a time, ‘Like’ Kinetic’s Facebook page, and ‘Like’ Frederik Van Lierde’s Facebook page.
