New coaching partner as 2014 Triathlon Show sees tickets selling fast

The 2014 Triathlon Show, billed as ‘the UK’s premier multisport and endurance exhibition’, continues to build pace. The organisers note that current ‘ticket sales predict 2014 could be the most popular event to date.’

Tri Training Harder has also been announced as the official coaching partner of the 2014 event, and will be showcasing its newest resource, The TRIplan, at the show. The TRIplan offers athletes of every level tailored, high quality training plans whilst a team of expert coaches will conduct free consultations (normally worth £80 per/hour) during the three-day show.

Tri Training Harder is also offering one lucky person the chance to win a free training holiday to Portugal – and tri age groupers can simply purchase a ticket for the Triathlon Show to be in with a chance of winning the prize.

The Triathlon Show will return to Sandown Park in Esher, Surrey, from 28 February – 2 March 2014.

Andy Healy, Show Director, said “It’s great to be working with Tri Training Harder who bring a great team of expert coaches with them to the show. This year’s event provides triathletes with a unique insight into new product launches and the world elites’ training tips and tricks – perfect for any triathlete hoping to get their season off to a fantastic start.”

Fiona Hunter Johnston, Director and Coach of Tri Training Harder explained, “We’re delighted to be the Official Coaching Partner to the 2014 Show. We’re a company run by triathletes for triathletes, we take pride in looking at triathlon coaching, training and racing with fresh eyes and we’re really looking forward to meeting lots of triathletes at the show!”

The show promises to be a must-attend event for both aspiring and experienced triathletes, where visitors will be able to enjoy expert advice, interactive features and specialist zones to kick start the new season. There will be opportunities for visitors to try out the latest technology with biomechanical partner Sub 4 on hand to offer free biomechanical assessments to help ease any muscle, joint and back pain.

In addition, sports and active lifestyle expert Joel Enoch will be offering a unique insight into performance nutrition with free 10-minute consultations at the Clif Bar stand. For those looking for further nutritional insight, Enoch will also be running a 45-minute seminar and Q&A session on how sports nutrition can help improve athletic performance.

The Triathlon Show has undergone significant changes for 2014 following its acquisition by Immediate Media, the publisher of 220 Triathlon, ‘the UK’s bestselling triathlon magazine’. With 40% more floor space, visitors will be able to see the newest 2014 kit and apparel, get tips from some of the biggest stars of triathlon and enjoy free 1-2-1 tips and advice.
