Neon Run has arrived in the UK with two new events in Leeds and Sunderland in the North East of England, in October 2014. This ‘worldwide phenomenon’ is billed as ‘the biggest night-time spectacular never before seen in the UK.’ The event is set to light up the UK with ‘the most innovative and mind blowing fun run, dance party ever seen.’
Neon Run is a 5K night-time run with four unique on-course neon zones of rock, disco, pop and iconic British music featuring lasers, black lights, strobes, dancers and DJs to keep runners entertained along the course.
Participants can choose to run or take their time and walk or jog the distance. When runners cross the finish line ‘the party is just getting started, as you then get to dance the night away to the sounds from your favourite DJ artists.’
Also, as the organisers point out, ‘Everyone loves freebies and there are two of the coolest you’ll get when you enter a Neon Run – an LED sound activated flash band, and a loud event t-shirt.’
