TRI11 gets efficient and adds air to new wetsuits

Germany-based wetsuit and apparel specialist TRI11 is extending its product line with two new models, the TRI11 EFFICIENT 2.0 and the TRI11 AIR, which are distributed by the Hamburg-based company Lemonsports.

According to TRI11, the new TRI11 EFFICIENT 2.0 wetsuit is a development of the brand’s first EFFICIENT series. It is distinguished ‘especially by its astonishing flexibility, which is specifically prominent in the arm regions, as well as its optimized buoyancy.’

Due to these aspects the TRI11 EFFICIENT 2.0 ‘provides all the advantages of a professional neoprene suit at a price that is [typically] found in beginner wetsuits at €299.’

TRI11 has meanwhile completely reworked the precursor Red AIR wetsuit with the new model TRI11 AIR.

Compared to its predecessor, which is equipped with air chambers all along the front of the suit, the new TRI11 AIR has accentuated air chambers in the areas of the breast and thighs. TRI11 notes that this makes for a well-rounded buoyancy.

The company adds that the Yamamoto 40 material as well as the Air Dome Boost Panels make it the number one for choice for long distances. This high-range neoprene suit comes at the price of €499.

Both new models offer up better flexibility thanks to the 1.5 mm panels at the arms and shoulders and ‘make for a better feeling of the water due to the grip panels at the end of the sleeves.’ Additionally, the company goes on to point out that the SCS Nano coating that covers both suits completely improves the hydrodynamic characteristics when in the water.

Testing, testing… for free
All TRI11 models can be tried out by interested buyers through the company’s free test service. One or two different models or sizes can be ordered and tested extensively – no matter whether this is in the swimming pool or in the open water.

TRI11 was founded in Hamburg in 2008 and has set itself the goal of offering high quality triathlon wetsuits at a fair price. To achieve this, TRI11 takes advantage of direct sales to the consumer and ‘thus creates a direct closeness between athletes and the brand.’

So that every athlete has the opportunity to test a wetsuit, TRI11 decided to offer the suits not only via a typical swimming test in store or at a demo day, but also to take a completely new approach. With the shipment of test wetsuits to the customer – product testing can be done in a swimming pool or open water. Thus, the athlete may  test the suit at a convenient time before placing an order and returning any unwanted suits.

This entire process is free of charge for the customer; and TRI11 accepts the return shipping costs.

In 2011, the team at TRI11 founded the company Lemonsports.com – the German-based and European-reaching online multisport store. The wetsuits and other products of TRI11 are now offered exclusively by Lemonsports.com. Lemonsports.com also manages the entire support of TRI11 products – helping customers find the right suit for them.
