Registration for the fourth annual Rolf Prima Tri at the Grove ends on 18 July. A release from the organisers notes that Triathlete magazine named the event as one of the best 22 triathlons in America last year. The event, sponsored by Oregon based wheel brand Rolf Prima is set for 26 July at Cottage Grove Lake, 30 minutes south of Eugene, Oregon.
The Rolf Prima Tri at the Grove is one of several cycling and multisport events produced by dark:30 sports of Eugene.
The triathlon features Olympic and Sprint distances in courses with individual and relay team options. Early registration discounts are in effect until 11 July and registration closes on 18 July.
dark:30 sports points to Triathlete magazine’s February 2013 issue, in which editors wrote that ‘Nature-loving triathlon newbies flock to Cottage Grove to soak up the sun in a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all levels … an easy-going, outdoorsy Oregonian vibe infuses every aspect of this race.’
The USATriathlon-sanctioned event attracts professional triathletes as well as first-timers and is the only one from the Pacific Northwest among the 22 picked by the editors of Triathlete mag.
