Reynolds Cycling on a roll in Asia with new sales and marketing partner

Reynolds Cycling, the manufacturer of high-performance race wheels for mountain and road bikes, and a pioneer in carbon fibre and aero technology, has announced that Leggera Technologies International (LTI), an Asian-based bicycle consulting company, will assume sales and marketing duties for Reynolds’ after-market products throughout Asia.

Reynolds has identified the region as a key market, and with offices in Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, LTI is seen to be ‘ideally positioned to bolster efforts toward increasing growth in this part of the world.’

Paul Farrell, Founder and CEO of LTI said, “The LTI group has over 15 years’ experience working with top cycling brands in Asia. We are excited to work closely with Reynolds and their exclusive country distributors in aiming to build upon the Reynolds brand image and leadership in carbon fibre wheel technology, and we are eager to provide even higher levels of after-market customer support across the Asian region.”

LTI will take over from Taiwanese based DWL, led by Mike Wang, who previously serviced both after-market and original equipment customers.

Reynolds’ rapid growth in the Asian market, reported at over 125% in 2014, ‘made it necessary to split off after-market responsibilities.’ Wang will continue to support Reynolds’ local OE and assembly clients and work closely with LTI during the transition period.

Reynolds Cycling engineers and manufactures premium carbon composite and alloy bicycle wheels sold in more than 48 countries worldwide. Reynolds notes that it has an unwavering dedication to innovation and quality, housing a state-of-the-art engineering and testing studio, sourcing only the highest quality materials, and maintaining ownership of a dedicated manufacturing facility.

A pioneer in composite design, Reynolds brought the first all-carbon fork to market. Two decades later, Reynolds Cycling remains committed to making the ‘best, lightest and fastest wheels available, proven both in the lab and under the saddles of the world’s top cyclists and triathletes.’
