A new season of races and events in Italy is being presented in Rome by team & event organiser Forhans Team. The organisation’s President Gianluca Calfapietra will present the new initiatives for 2014 to institutions, press and sponsors on Friday 17 January at 11:30 CET in Rome’s Sala della Protomoteca.
To add kudos to the grand setting in Rome, dignitaries such as Italy’s Councillor for Sport Luca Pancalli and Vice President of the Italian Federation of Triathlon Marco Comotto will be present.
The occasion will set the stage for the presentation of the elite team, which will be ‘further strengthened this year and ready to achieve significant results.’
“Together with the team manager Fabio Giannini we worked to complete the team,” said Forhans Team President Gianluca Calfapietra. “We shall compete at a national and international level. The women’s team can do really well, and it is certainly one of our goals to compete at the highest levels in the medium and long distances.”
The new arrivals will be presented during the conference, where sponsors, media and other stakeholders will discover the calendar of events for the 2014 Forhans Team.
“We’ll start as usual from Formello in March,” Calfapietra continued. “This year there are many events organized by Team Forhans. There are also two items of advanced news: the return of the Anguillara triathlon and the addition of a new sprint triathlon at a marine village on the Roman coast.”
On Saturday 18 January, athletes, sponsors and friends of the Forhans Team will meet at the Olgiata 2012 Sports Club, in Rome. The evening will begin with a presentation to all stakeholders. (In 2013, the event exceeded its quota of 400 attendees.)
In addition to the various activities in the program for Saturday (reviewing Forhans Team initiatives in triathlon, cycling and running) and the annual award ceremony celebrating the achievements of the three sections of the Forhans Team – the celebrations will continue with a dinner, music and dancing.
