At the first ever Interbike Awards in Las Vegas, on 11 September, 36 awards were handed out. It was a sold out night – with 750 movers and shakers across the bike and endurance sport industries in attendance.
Among the honours were 3 triathlon awards, which were sponsored and spearheaded by industry association Triathlon Business International (TBI). Triathlon legend Michellie Jones and Mike Reilly, ‘the Voice of Ironman’, were the award presenters.

- Triathlon Industry Leader/Influencer of the Year – Dan Empfield
