Xtra Mile Events, one of the UK’s leading sports events companies, has announced the details of its 2015 race calendar, with all events now open for registration. Based in Altrincham, Cheshire, Xtra Mile Events organises high profile triathlons, duathlons and running events across the North West of England and Wales.
Events in the company’s portfolio include: the ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon in Trafford, the ASICS Oulton Park Half Marathon & 10K, the Ffit Conwy Llandudno Sea Triathlon and the Peak District Triathlon at Chatsworth.
The first Xtra Mile Event took place in 2007 and the events company has been growing consistently ever since, with thousands of participants on the start line each season. The organisers note that they are are passionate about getting athletes of all levels involved from complete novices to elites, and their triathlons range from pool-based sprint races to challenging open water middle and standard distance races.

The Oulton Park Spring Duathlon has been selected as a qualifying race for both the 2015 ITU World Duathlon Championships and the 2016 ETU Standard Distance Duathlon European Championships. Triathlon England has also confirmed that the National Duathlon Championships will take place at the Oulton Park Autumn Duathlon.
