Miami Tri Events has confirmed that City Bikes IRONMAN 70.3 Miami general entries are now officially sold out. Athletes from 73 different countries and all 50 states in the US will be traveling to tropical Miami, Florida, on 25 October to compete in ‘one of the largest IRONMAN 70.3 events in the world.’
Limited registrations are only now available by registering through the Corporate Challenge charity category.
For a limited time only, Miami Tri Events notes that all athletes who book accommodations at InterContinental Miami will be entered in a raffle to win one of three packages, which include a 2015 event registration and two night stay. The registration and accommodation fees will be refunded to the winners via a prize draw. The first winner will be announced on 25 September 2015, the second winner will be announced on 9 October, and the third winner will be announced on 16 October.
City Bikes Ironman 70.3 Miami is positioned as a unique racing experience that draws thousands of athletes each year. The organisers note that the event features one of the largest expos on the Ironman 70.3 circuit; with the expo kicking off on Friday 24 October, at Bayfront Park in the heart of Downtown Miami.
The race itself takes place on 25 October and is comprised of a 1.2 mile swim in the protected bay waters adjacent to Bayfront Park, a 56-mile bike ride from Downtown Miami to the Florida Everglades and a 13.1-mile run through metropolitan Miami.
