The Maverick Multisport Elite Team camp takes place on 16-18 January 2015 – with a range of activities and individuals present. This will be a full pro style camp that will showcase Maverick Multisport’s six pros with a full slate of industry experts also attending.
Running over three days in Louisville, Kentucky, the event will include: photographs; sponsor specific product shots; video; team meals; bike builds and bike fits; lactate threshold testing; live online streaming of a few portions of the event including product testing/bike fit/pro panel; and a community/team roll out party on Saturday night.
The list of guests attending include:
- John Cobb (Owner of Cobb Cycling) – who will be undertaking all six bike fits for the Maverick Multisport Elite Team
- Alex Bok (former Director of teamTBB/current international sales for Cobb Cycling) – industry info
- Christie O’Hara (Lead Sports Scientist, Rotor Bike Components) – spin scans, Qring setup
- Michael Folan (President, Infinit Nutrition) – nutrition consults
- Jeremy Brown (BSX Athletics) – lactate threshold testing
- Jeff Sangalli (President, Primal Sport Mud) – recovery
The Maverick Multisport Elite Team has six pros on its roster. In 2014, the Elite team delivered a number of impressive results: 35 top 10’s = 5.8 per athlete; and 21 top 5’s = 3.5 per athlete.
The pro athlete roster includes: Jillian Petersen, Lesley Smith, Julie Patterson, Molly Roohi, Mike Hermanson and Justin Metzler

Friday 16 January 2015
- Early morning swim
- Individual team pictures: head shots, apparel shot in tri kit and cycling kit, casual gear, wetsuit, swimskin, with photos of the BSX Athletics sleeve/device on, and with Argon 18 bike, with Catlike helmet.
- Team dinner
Saturday 17 January 2015
- Morning swim
- Bike Fits with John Cobb at VO2 Multisport in Louisville
- 20-30 minutes after the bike fit will spent with Christie O’Hara-Rotor for Qrings/spin scan analysis
- Talk by Infinit Nutrition
- Stream of pro panel on UStream.TV (athletes in team gear, banners and a Twitter Q&A)
- BSX testing
- Public Event/Team party
- John Cobb will demo bike/finish off athletes’ bike fit and talk aerodynamics
- BSX demo test
- Talk by Christie O’Hara from Rotor about power, chainrings
- 10 second power test on attendees to win Qrings
