Blenheim Palace Triathlon 2015 sold out

General entries for the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Blenheim Palace Triathlon are now sold out, as 7,000 participants prepare to take on super-sprint and sprint distance triathlons in the stunning grounds of Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, on 13-14 June 2015.

The only way hopeful participants can now secure their place at this event is through a Charity Pledge Place, committing to raise vital funds for blood cancer charity Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. By joining the charity’s legion of determined fundraisers, ‘the Unstoppables’, Pledge Place triathletes will play an integral role in helping the charity to hit its £400,000 target for 2015.

As the UK’s largest blood cancer charity, Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is dedicated to improving the lives of patients with all types of blood cancer, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Its life-saving work is focused on finding causes, improving diagnosis and treatments and running ground-breaking clinical trials for all blood cancer patients.

In the last decade, thousands of participants have collectively raised £1.5 million through the event, but the charity’s work won’t be finished until blood cancer has been beaten once and for all.

James Robinson, Managing Director of IMG Challenger World, the event organisers, said “As the UK’s second largest triathlon, set in such a spectacular location, we continue to see huge interest in the event every year. It’s a great accomplishment knowing that the continued success of the event means that more and more money is raised in support of the incredible work that Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research do.”

Matt Lawley, Head of Sports Events at Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, commented “Our partnership with the Blenheim Palace Triathlon has gone from strength to strength over the years and we are delighted to be involved once again in 2015. This year, we hope our unstoppable triathletes raise even more, so we can keep beating blood cancer together. We’re proud to be associated with this prestigious event and the incredible sponsorship that it raises.”
