Endura is wishing Movistar Team’s Alex Dowsett good luck for his hour record attempt this Saturday 2 May, in the National Cycling Centre in Manchester, UK. A lot of people at the Endura HQ in Livingston, Scotland have been involved in designing, developing, and manufacturing the speedsuit that has been created especially for Alex and specifically for this event.
All Endura staff have followed the Essex boy’s training closely, have suffered with him when he broke his collar bone in January, and are now very much looking forward to see him on the track in an Endura speedsuit.
The highly advanced aero suit was developed specifically for the attempt through intensive research and testing by Endura in collaboration with Drag2Zero and produced in Endura’s state of the art facilities in Scotland. Alex has tested countless versions of the suit over the last couple of months, in the windtunnel as well as on the track.
Endura is thrilled to be able to assist Alex in this event, hopefully saving him the final watts needed to break the record!
TICKETS for the #PerfectHour are still available online.
Eurosport 2 will broadcast the #PerfectHour on Saturday 2 May at 12.45pm BST (UK) / 13.45 CEST (España/ mainland Europe).
