The Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon Team has launched the Uplace-BMC Age Group Team. As the organisers point out, with this new initiative, from now on, every age group triathlete can grab the opportunity to join the Uplace-BMC Triathlon Team and become a teammate of Dirk Bockel, Will Clarke and Corinne Abraham.
Age group athletes can wear the same outfit as Ronnie Schildknecht, Sofie Goos and Helle Frederiksen and receive first hand tips and advice from team members, which also include Liz Blatchford, Bart Aernouts and Romain Guillaume.
Uplace-BMC notes that over the last years, triathlon has been seeing increasing popularity and has seen a growing professionalization of the sport. With the launch of the Uplace-BMC Age Group Team, the Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon Team wants to create a platform to ‘engage more with our fans and the triathlon community.’

A release from the organisation notes ‘It is our aim to create a community around our professionals offering age group athletes and fans the opportunity to really connect with the pro athletes and feel part of the Uplace-BMC Team. We would like to offer a unique fan experience to all our future age group members.’
