Having recently confirmed that it will be adding a number of new races including new events in Dubai, Estonia, Sweden and the United Kingdom, IRONMAN has issued an updated calendar for its 2016 IRONMAN and 2016 IRONMAN 70.3 European Tour.
In total the 2016 IRONMAN European Tour will now consist of more than 40 IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events.
With its updated 2016 schedule, IRONMAN has confirmed new its races in Estonia and Italy. IRONMAN 70.3 Estonia takes place in August 2016, with further details on the venue to follow in the coming weeks.
Hosting a full distance IRONMAN event in 2016 is the Italian sea port of Civitavecchia in the province of Rome and the central Italian region of Lazio. This event will roll out in the middle of October, while the new IRONMAN 70.3 Rome takes place in August. Both events join the already established IRONMAN 70.3 Italy, in Pescara on the Adriatic Sea.
The current confirmed 2016 IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 European Tour stands at 42 events. Details on the new M-Dot race for the flourishing UK market are also expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
