Exustar – the producer of performance and value-priced shoe/pedal systems for road, mountain, triathlon, track and urban cycling – is giving away a case (100 units) of cleats to one lucky dealer a day during Interbike this month. The company adds that each case is worth over US$1400 at retail prices.
North America’s largest bike industry show, Interbike, returns to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center beginning with OutDoor Demo in Boulder City, Nevada on 14-15 September 2015, followed by the Interbike Expo on 16-18 September 2015.
EPS (Exustar Pedal Systems) cleats are available in fixed and floating configurations for the most popular cycling pedal designs. To win the cleats at Interbike, Exustar points out, ‘All you have to do is be a qualified dealer, stop by the booth, hand Dannie [Nall] your card, and come back an hour before the show ends to see if you’ve won!’
“We wanted to give back to our good dealers and show new ones why we’re the leader in performance/value shoes and pedals,” said Dannie Nall, General Manager of Exustar USA. “We make cleats for the latest KEO systems, SPD SL and SPD Mountain Bike Pedals, and for the throngs of old-school Delta pedals still in circulation. Dannie will pick the qualified winner from all the cards collected each day, and start again the next!

EPS-R // Keo and Delta systems
Exustar thermoplastic cleats come either in Red (Floating from 6 to 9 degrees) or Black (Fixed) configurations. Weighing approximately 24g, they are available for the earliest Delta designs to the latest KEO Systems.
Some cleats come with TPU Pads for stable pedaling and walking performance. The company adds that retail prices are always under US$20.
EPS-SL / / SPD-SL
As with the KEO and Delta systems, SPD-SL cleat needs can be handled with the Red (4.5 degrees of float) or Black (fixed) SL11 cleats. Still under US$20 retail and at 25g a pair.
EPS-M // Off-Road SPD and multi-release
Exustar’s forged Cro-Mo steel cleats are billed as the go-to for your off-road needs. These weigh in at only 20g and are US$12 at retail.
EPS – T // track cleats
In keeping with Exustar’s ‘we’ve got it all covered’ philosophy, dealers, and consumers, can even get track cleats in aluminum or thermoplastic.
