This week sees British grassroots apparel brand Bonk deliver a new collection of lifestyle and performance apparel. The new range comprises t-shirts, training tops, vests and accessories, alongside a special edition Race Force line.
Features include a return for the bestselling ‘Aero’ t-shirt in Navy/Silver, alongside a new design depicting a sleek silhouette of a single speed racer. This is, fittingly, in yellow with the Tour De France having just got underway at the weekend.
On the performance side Bonk has expanded on its training range with an eye-catching ‘Don’t Stop Run’ design, available as a technical t-shirt and vest for both men and women.
‘Live To Train’ tops also return in Black/Red and Charcoal/Cyan.
Charlie Evans, Founder and creator of Bonk said “We’ve made improvements to the performance apparel by using lighter fabrics with improved sweat wicking properties; as well as smooth sublimation printing on the reverse mesh panels that give increased breathability, a softer feel and more vivid colours.”
The limited edition Race Force line includes a re-work of the original ‘I will not bonk’ tshirt, showcasing Race Force’s ‘together we race’ mantra in a speech bubble across the back. Also in the mix is a stylish training top, and a hoodie for those chilly early morning race starts.
The collaboration with apparel company Bonk sees event travel & transportation specialist Race Force retailing the 2015 Bonk collection at events all over Europe this summer.
All the apparel is now available to buy at Bonk’s online store at bonkathletic.com. Race Force will be carrying its range at events throughout Europe; and Bonk will be popping up at some domestic races in the UK, notably Ironman Wales in September.
Charlie Evans, also had this to say about the new arrivals; “We wanted to set about delivering something that caught the eye and felt unique, I think we have definitely achieved that, particularly with the ‘Don’t Stop Run’ gear which we hope people will be seeing more of in years to come. More running and training apparel including shorts, vests, t-shirts, and new hoodies are on the horizon.’’
