Australian company Gravity-Zero supplies a diverse range of high-quality wheels and hubs. The company’s latest product, the ZhERO rear bicycle hub is now building momentum with a Kickstarter campaign under way.
The ZhERO is billed as ‘the world’s most mechanical advanced purpose-built rear hub that improves performance from the first turn of the pedals to the last.’ The ZhERO hub can be fitted to all rims with conventional or hidden nipples that have a matching spoke count.
The brainchild of ZhERO, Kevin Hancett is very positive about the feedback for the product.
At a recent press meet, former Australian professional road racer, Robbie McEwen said, “I have personally evaluated the power of ZhERO. You would be amazed at how effectively it reduces shock of lock up through your body parts. Just a simple ride and you will know for yourself that ZhERO is capable of enhancing your performance, endurance and overall experience of riding on the bike.”
He added, “Most importantly, the company Gravity-Zero has never had a history of disappointing people, so it won’t be different this time if the campaign gets adequate funds.”
Crits and road racing specialist Shane Young said, “The ZhERO is most responsive hub I have ever ridden, from crits to road racing there is no other way to explain it, the smoothness & efficiency is simply amazing from the instant zero lag mechanism. I would highly recommend the ZhERO to anyone that rides a bike.”
Double World Champion, Jim McMurray said, “Supplied with a set of ZhERO hubs built into Gravity-Zero 50mm full carbon clinchers these are the best hill climbing clinchers wheels I have ever ridden.”
From a social rider to road racing, triathlete, TT specialist or criterium, the team at Gravity-Zero note that the mechanical precision that the ZhERO brings will ‘increase endurance, performance and all round well being on any bike.’
