Hong Kong-based Falco Bike has added professional Australian triathlete Paul ‘Barny’ Matthews to its roster of sponsored athletes.
Matthews who finished 14th at the IRONMAN World Championships and second at the Asia Pacific IRONMAN Championships in 2014, and who is coached by 3-time IRONMAN World Champion Craig Alexander, will be riding the Falco V triathlon bike in 2015 and beyond.
Matthews said he couldn’t wait to race on his new bike. “I’m so excited to race on my brand new Falco V bike. It’s one of the fastest time trial bikes on the market and it will be a huge advantage for me.”
Matthews will be joining a number of strong professionals in Falco’s stable of athletes for 2015, including Ultra-Cycling 12hr and 24hr World Champion Chris Hopkinson, 2-time US Duathlon National Champion Matthew Russell, 2015 South Africa 70.3 winner Matty Trautman, among others.
