In collaboration with Argon 18, Fizik, Corim, and CeramicSpeed – this autumn/fall, helmet specialist POC will host an online auction to celebrate the Raceday concept and to raise money and awareness for Spinalis, a charitable foundation whose mission is to promote research and treatment development in the field of spinal cord injuries.
The auction will celebrate the Raceday concept, which was introduced in 2015. Raceday is the result of POC’s ‘uncompromising approach to road cycling performance and marks the next step in POC’s quest to redefine the future of road cycling.’
POC, a leading manufacturer of cycling helmets, apparel and accessories, has partnered with Argon 18, Fizik, Corima, and CeramicSpeed to unveil the online auction where a one of a kind Argon 18 Time Trial/Triathlon bike will be auctioned off.
“To emphasize the ambition of technology, aerodynamics and performance within Raceday, helmets and apparel, we turned to Argon 18, Fizik, Corima and CeramicSpeed to customize the ultimate machine. The bike will follow us at events and trade shows and will then be auctioned off later this fall,” said Stefan Ytterborn, founder of POC.
The unique and custom-built bike is valued at US$15,300 (€13,900) and the proceeds of the auction will be used to support Spinalis, the charitable foundation whose mission is to support the research and treatment development in the field of spinal cord injuries.
