Run For Chocolate – the chocolate-themed run series – has unveiled its latest venue to be warmed up this coming winter, as Bournemouth on the English south coast gets a chocolatey 5K run event on 14 February 2016.
This newly confirmed event will be held at Kings Park Bournemouth, which is a popular park next door to the AFC Bournemouth Football Stadium. The park is centrally located, has a café and is accessible by car, foot and public transport.
Participants who walk, jog or run 5K are invited to take part in a ‘fun, friendly, family and keep fit event’. All runners receive a ‘Run For Chocolate’ finishers medal and some luxury hot chocolate.
Organised by F3 Events, Run For Chocolate is positioned as a ‘celebration of fitness and wellbeing’. Participants of all ages and abilities are invited to enjoy the benefits of running, along with the reward of a warm and comforting mug of luxury hot chocolate.
The series’ organising team will be announcing new venues across the UK in the coming weeks. An extensive list of venues, marked as ‘coming soon’, can be found on the event website. Currently, confirmed events are:
