Triathlon Business International (TBI), the industry organization dedicated to promoting the sport and business of triathlon internationally, has announced that its second Global Conference, ‘Shaping the Future of Triathlon’, on 9-11 July, in Roth, Germany is nearing a registration sell-out.

The keynote speaker lineup is led by DATEV eG CEO Prof Dieter Kempf who will talk about his company’s activation and benefits as title sponsor of the legendary DATEV Challenge Roth, the world’s largest long distance triathlon, which is held on Sunday 12 July.
He will be joined by keynote speakers: Timo Bracht, 2014 Challenge Roth Champion who will talk about the highs and lows of a pro career in triathlon; Chris McCormack, Long Distance World, IRONMAN and Challenge Roth champion, who will speak on his perspective as a triathlete who is both a professional athlete and now a businessman; and Robert Püstow, Strategic Business Development Manager EMEA, ACTIVE Network, who will present on the importance of using big data to drive better decisions and efficiency within multisport businesses.
Attendees will also hear from TBI President Jack Caress, Challenge Roth Race Director Felix Walchshöfer and Lapio CEO Klaus Preisler. Walchshöfer will provide an overview of what competitors and guests can expect from the 2015 DATEV Challenge Roth.

The conference kicks off next Thursday night with the Erdinger Unweisse Party at the Roth Expo. Friday is full of networking opportunities with a special reception hosted by Quintana Roo, unveiling ‘the next generation in triathlon-specific bikes’, and a speed networking session, which allows attendees to meet and exchange business cards with all other conference attendees.
That night there is a special tour of the 16th century castle, Schloss Ratibor, hosted by Roth Mayor Ralph Edelhaeusser. Following the tour, attendees will have the opportunity to make more valuable connections at the Welcome Party powered by Beyern3 at Market Square in Roth.
