Triathlon apparel and compression specialist SLS3 has introduced the HiPZiPP, a new run belt with a leisure and lifestyle positioning.
The new, HiPZiPP belt is billed as ‘your new best friend for all runs, walks, gym workouts – you name it.’ It features two large, zippered pockets that will hold even the latest and largest cell phones on the market (e.g. iPhone 6+), as well as a small, hidden pocket the size of a credit card. This ensures easy access to devices and valuables ‘in a jiffy with one swift hand motion.’
SLS3 has used a high end, warp knit performance compression material (the same material that it uses for its triathlon compression sportswear). According to the company, the end result is ‘ultraflat, ultralight and you won’t even feel your HiPZiPP when you’re wearing it.’
‘It doesn’t bounce, there is no chafing and it hugs your hips. The HiPZiPP is the lightest belt of its kind on the market.’
The 5 inch wide belt comes in many different colours to spice up shorts, capris or pants by giving it the illusion of simply being a wide waistband. The compression fabric holds the hipster belt in place securely. The zippered compartment holds any size cell phone plus key, credit card, pen, gel, bars, wet wipes and/or some cash for a cold drink.’
The HiPZiPP is made in the San Diego, USA with Italian fabrics. The SLS3 apparel brand is all about ‘channeling a passion for sport into a new way of approaching athletic gear that is both practical and fashionable.’
SLS3 was established in 2007, by pro-triathletes Sebastian and Sylvie Linke. It is dedicated to ‘offering top-notch professional sports gear, designed to keep up with the athletes day and night.’ The company also works to maintain responsible business practices and a small carbon footprint; and SLS3 notes that it is passionate about providing exceptional customer care.
