Stan’s NoTubes has appointed Chris Currie as its new Creative Director. As an industry veteran, Currie has experience in web development, marketing, sales management, graphic design, business development and customer service.
“Chris will be working to refine Stan’s NoTubes’ marketing message and delivery, to improve our content and to push our website in new directions,” said Mike Bush, President of Stan’s NoTubes. “Few people know our product, market position and customers as well as Chris.”
Having worked with the company on a part-time basis as Content Manager for the past three years, Currie is no stranger to Stan’s NoTubes. He was also one of the company’s earliest customers.
“Stan’s NoTubes is something special,” said Currie. “From the very beginning, this was a rider-owned and operated company on a mission to create products that redefine what’s possible and change the entire cycling industry. I feel very fortunate to be part of a company that, to me, has always stood for true innovation and the drive to make every ride even better.”
Most recently, Currie was the Director of Sales for Velotech. Prior to that, he founded Speedgoat Bicycles in 1997 and served as its president and manager until 2011.
Currie’s new role was effective on 23 February.
