Alongside its existing Official Tour Operator status for the Tour de France and the Giro d’Italia, Sports Tours International (STI) has been appointed as an Official Tour Operator to the inaugural Tour de Yorkshire, taking place between 1-3 May 2015.
The three stages of the Tour de Yorkshire cover some of the same roads visited by last year’s Tour de France and also take in areas in the East of the County in North East England.
As an Official Tour Operator, Sports Tours International is able to offer ‘incredible access on a daily basis, including VIP Accreditation to the Starting Zone and Finish line Hospitality at each stage.’ For those looking for a once in a lifetime experience, there is the chance to ride in an Official Race Car along the route of a stage in front of the peloton, soaking up the atmosphere and the legendary Yorkshire welcome.
The Tour de Yorkshire is a new UCI (International Cycling Union) approved international cycle race which will be held for the first time from 1-3 May 2015. It is expected to attract high profile cyclists and top international teams.
