For the third time, ISPO MUNICH will be hosting the Running Shoe Conference organized by Runner’s World magazine. The conference will take place on Monday 25 January 2016 – in tandem with the next ISPO MUNICH sports trade show, which runs from 24-27 January, in Munich, Germany.
The conference aims to be a central platform for running industry and sports professionals to exchange information and to have ‘fruitful discussions on the business and current trends.’
The focus of the industry’s information hub will be on product and business trends. Experts and brand representatives will present the latest gear, new ideas and perspectives as well as analysis of the current market situation
Discussion areas include: which new products and innovations will hit the market next? Where is research & development taking us? Where can new business opportunities be found?
To help find answers to these questions, manufacturers will present recent concepts and gear, and will share state-of-the-art marketing and sales strategies. The conference is not meant to be a one-way flow of information. Instead, the meeting is designed as a forum for useful discussions between speakers and the audience.
Workshops will also give an opportunity for an in-depth exchange of ideas and thoughts, with the outcomes presented to audiences later on.
Last February, at the second Running Shoe Conference, more than 180 guests attended the event, 46 of which were retailers, 22 were representatives of vendors and 19 were journalists – with other industry representatives making up the remainder.
