TOUGHMAN NY is the host of the 2015 USAT National Aquabike Championships alongside the TOUGHMAN Half Iron NY Championship. The race will take place on 13 September 2015, at Croton Point Park, Croton on Hudson New York.
Only 25 miles north of New York City, the USAT TOUGHMAN Aquabike National Championships is close to major airports with the host hotel being the Tarrytown Doubletree just 10 minutes from the venue. The 1.2-mile swim is in a protected bay of the Hudson River with a two-loop 56-mile closed bike course. The event has a post-race BBQ with beer garden and over US$30,000 worth of age group awards.
According to the organisers, this year’s race will include over 1,400 volunteers.
As the TOUGHMAN Half Iron NY Championship, the TOUGHMAN NY event is building momentum with recently confirmed sponsorships from Poland Spring and Polar Electronics.
Poland Spring returns as a sponsor for the TOUGHMAN NY Championship. The Nestlé Waters owned bottled water brand will once again be sponsoring the TOUGHMAN, TOUGHKids NY Championship weekend as well as this year’s VIP Tent.
Polar will also be returning to sponsor the TOUGHMAN NY Championship on 13 September and will expand its sponsorship to all TOUGHMAN races nationally.
