The 2015 TRI-MANIA Summit and Expo series, ‘the largest pre-season kick-off for more than 4,500 triathletes and endurance athletes in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions’, has announced Ashworth Awards as its Official Awards Sponsor. Produced by Sun Multisport Events in partnership with the USA Triathlon Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Regional Councils, TRI-MANIA features informative seminars, training clinics, competitive events and a large and diverse vendor expo.
TRI-MANIA will be held in Washington DC at American University’s Bender Arena on 21 March, featuring Mike Reilly, the ‘Voice of Ironman’, as keynote speaker, and at MIT’s Zesiger Sports & Fitness Center in Boston, MA on 28 March, with keynote speaker Julie Dibens, three-time XTERRA and 70.3 IRONMAN World Champion.

As the Official Awards Sponsor of the 2015 TRI-MANIA Series, Ashworth Awards will create custom awards for the top 3 teams in the Team Challenge competition featured at TRI-MANIA Washington DC and TRI-MANIA Boston. The Team Challenge is a unique event combining times of teams competing in running events, an indoor door bike time trial and a pool-based swim meet. More than 40 teams from the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions are expected to participate again this year.
