Human Race London Cycle Sportive 2015

Riders have until 10:00 GMT on Tuesday 21 June to secure their place in this year’s Telegraph London Cycle Sportive powered by Maserati. The event takes place on Sunday 26 June, starting from the picturesque Dulwich Park.

It’s three routes of 48K, 104K and 166K finish with a timed lap of the Herne Hill Velodrome returning as the finale.

The beauty of the Surrey Hills is part of the appeal to cyclists, along with the ‘carefully crafted and executed routes’. Many of the stunning hills throughout the route provide views of the surrounding countryside and peaceful encompassing meadows.

Access Sport and the Herne Hill Velodrome Trust will once again be title charity partners of the event. All riders will be offered the option of raising money for one of these causes when registering their details. The event is being filmed for television, with highlights of the ride being shown on BIKE the following week.

Nick Rusling, CEO of Human Race Events, said “Stunning riding, a historic finish and thousands of riders supporting each other to the end, what’s not to like about The Telegraph London Cycle Sportive powered by Maserati? This a perfect Sunday ride, with plenty of character and distances on offer for all fitness levels.”

The event is part of the 2016 Human Race Sportive Series presented by BIKE, which also includes events such as ICAP L’Etape London by Le Tour de France.
