INFINIT Nutrition has signed up as the official nutrition sponsor for Challenge Aruba in its inaugural year. The latest addition to the Challenge Family’s scenic race series and first in the Caribbean, Challenge Aruba offers participants and their families the opportunity to ‘immerse themselves in paradise’.
Aruba’s arid climate and notorious trade winds dictate a special nutrition strategy according to INFINIT’s Founder and CEO Michael Folan. “We worked with Challenge Aruba to custom formulate the perfect mix for the hot and windy climate, keeping the endurance athlete in mind. The mix that we created will actually eliminate all the gels and salt pills. It’s a very cool concept to have a custom nutrition solution made just for a race like this.”
In addition to the main race, Challenge Aruba will host a number of events surrounding the competition including seminars and clinics with two-time world champion triathlete, Tim DeBoom, and the first athlete ever to finish the world championship in a wheelchair, Marc Herremans.
