The MP brand – the result of a collaboration between swimming legend Michael Phelps, coach Bob Bowman and Aqua Sphere – has a new Spring-Summer 2017 MP training swimsuits line, available at retail from November.
Michael Phelps reportedly only uses MP training swimsuits, competition suits and goggles; and the new season’s training swimwear aims to meet the durability demands of ‘the most exacting competitive swimmer whilst exploding out of the pool with gloriously vivid graffiti inspired prints, abstract street scenes and high saturation camouflage prints’. These designs are in homage to Phelps’s new home state of Arizona, USA.
This vivid technologically-advanced new training swimwear for men and women include a men’s 45cm leg Jammer, a men’s 14cm Brief and the option of a Women’s Racing back or Open back swimsuit. All MP training suits are made in Aqua Sphere’s Aqua Infinity fabric which, as the name suggests, offers a high level of chlorine resistance, delivering swimwear that boasts over 200 hours’ pool performance to ‘more than meet the requirements of the most frequent pool swimmer’.
