New from French apparel brand Ekoï, the Competition 8 Estate is an aerodynamic apparel range that combines cycle jersey and shorts. As the company points out, the jersey forms a single piece with the shorts, but its front part fully opens just like any common long-zippered bike jersey.
Ekoï adds, ‘The second skin effect of the fabrics and the flat seams will allow for maximum comfort. The absence of the bib braces provides an incredible sensation of freedom with no constrictions.’
Competition 8 Estate is handmade in Italy. It is targeted at road, cyclocross and mountain bikes use. The one piece outfit, which includes a short sleeve jersey and its combined bib shorts, is also positioned as an ideal kit for the upcoming summer season.
Available in white/black/red, the combined Competition 8 Estate jersey and bib shorts utilize Lycra and windproof fabrics. The jersey features a raised neck, two rear pockets and fully zippered front. The bib shorts are offered with a Silicon Air GEL pad and feature an opening on the front for toilet stops, without the need for removing the whole suit.
The one-piece suit comes in five sizes, S-M-L-XL-XXL, and three (white/black/red) colour options with a UK RRP of £119.40.
