Billed as the ultimate performance sunglass for cycling and beyond, Oakley’s new EVZero Path and EVZero Range models combine Oakley’s lightest ever sport performance frames with the ‘unobstructed view from a rimless Plutonite toric shield offering an extended range of view in the upper peripheral region.’
Both frames arrive with Prism, Oakley’s lens technology that fine-tunes vision for specific sports and environments. According to the company, the Prism Road lens helps riders see what they’ve been missing, enhancing vision in both bright light and shadows to help riders spot changes in the texture of road surfaces. Prism Trail further enhances reds and browns so riders can quickly spot sand, rocks, roots and other transitions in shade and bright light.
Engineered to maintain a comfortable and secure fit, both frames utilize Oakley’s patented Three-Point fit to ensure that frames only make contact at the bridge of the nose and behind the temples to ensure optical alignment, thus eliminating the discomfort associated with unbalanced pressure points. Earsocks and nosepads are coated with Unobtainium, which increases grip upon contact with perspiration.
The all new EVZero Path and EVZero Range are crafted from stress-resistant O Matter frame material, which is both lightweight and durable for all-day comfort. The EVZero Path and EVZero Range weigh in at 22g and 24g respectively.
