The Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon is airing on Channel 4 this Saturday 15 October at 06:40 GMT and Ch 4 +1 at 07.40. The popular event in the north of England plays out in the historic walled city of York, attracting elite runners and celebrities to its flat and fast course. Positioned as a festival of running, the marathon now attracts 10,000 competitors.
The Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon TV show is the result of the ongoing partnership between Dream Team Television and mainstream UK broadcaster Channel 4. A number of events are also coming up on Channel 4, and will be airing via the TV station in the next couple of months:
