Kinetic.fit (the web site) has been officially launched by turbo trainer specialist Kurt Kinetic. This is a new hub for all things Kinetic Fit; and app users can log into the site with their Kinetic Fit user ID and password to ‘access subscription upgrades and an account dashboard, and soon peruse training tips and helpful blog posts.’
In tandem with the new web site is a new update to the Kinetic Fit power-training app – with 28 new power-training plans, new workouts and a retooled user interface.
Kinetic notes that ‘Our number one goal with the Kinetic Fit app is to help you improve as a cyclist and a power training plan is the most effective way to accomplish this. Whether you are new or experienced, time-crunched or training like a pro, a training plan will keep you motivated and progressing with a personalized, data-driven schedule and great workouts.’
With the introduction of training plans Kinetic has also added an automatic training-plan calendar sync feature. Each calendar entry includes a workout description to help users ‘prepare for today and plan your days ahead’. The company adds that, with this feature, scheduling and deciding which workout to ride are two less items you’ll need to add to a check list.
All the new app features are available free through 31 August to all Kinetic Fit riders during the extended free trial period. The new subscription tiers kick in on 1 September 2016 including: a free Core subscription with access to select data and power training features; a Smart subscription (US$10/month or US$60 annual) that includes over 200 personalized workouts, 28 training plans, data sharing and full video integration. For an additional US$10/month, riders can also stream the entire The Sufferfest video training series with either Core or Smart subscriptions.
