The company behind some of the most memorable moments of the 2016 Olympics is congratulating Team GB as events in Rio have now drawn to a close.
dryrobe was an official supplier of Team GB kit, working with adidas to supply the diving, triathlon and swimming teams across both the Olympics and Paralympics. The weather-proof, outdoor change robe was spotted throughout the Games and was worn by an array of leading athletes.
Most notably was Paralympian Ellie Robinson’s iconic entrance wearing a dryrobe, before confidently winning gold in record time during the 50m Butterfly final. Her entrance in the dryrobe attracted attention across social media, being described as ‘gangster’ by some – but her choice of clothing ‘captured the imagination of the watching public’.

Made for changing sports clothing or wetsuits outdoors, the dryrobe has a waterproof and windproof exterior shell fabric and a synthetic lambswool lining that dries and keeps the user warm. The dryrobe can be left on over clothing or a wetsuit and re-used multiple times throughout the day ‘without the dryrobe ever feeling wet or cold’. Other features include: soft lined exterior pockets, a large internal storage pocket and MP3 player pocket.
