Age group triathletes now have the opportunity to train with the pros of the BMC-Vifit Sport Pro Triathlon Team, as the team has unveiled access to a training camp in Mallorca, Spain. The camp is positioned as ‘a unique opportunity to train with, be coached by, and have access to, the same support as our pros.’
The 2018 camp runs from Sunday 29 April through to Sunday 6 May. The camp will take place at the BEST Swim Centre in Colonia Sant Jordi, Mallorca. The BEST Centre is one of the leading venues in Europe with a state of the art 50m outdoor pool. The island of Mallorca also offers a selection of bike routes and running trails.
At the end of the camp, athletes will have the opportunity to enter the Mallorca Olympic Triathlon, individually or in a team.
BMC-Vifit Sport Pro Triathlon Team CEO, Bob De Wolf said “We will be organizing our first age group training camp for a one week period alongside our pro team training camp in Mallorca. It will create a real opportunity for us as a team and for our professional athletes in particular to share their knowledge and expertise and to build a real platform with the age group community.”
The expert coaches and professional athletes of the BMC-Vifit Sport Pro Triathlon Team will offer a dedicated training program adapted to each participating athlete’s specific needs. Throughout the entire week, age groupers can train with, mix and mingle, and learn from the athletes and staff. The camp is ‘open to all ambitious triathletes and will provide daily structured group sessions at different levels from beginners to experienced triathletes… Each session will target a specific objective to set you up for a successful season.’

Included in the price are: 7 nights half board, airport transfers, reserved swim lanes, use of private running trails, fitness and gym access, group rides with service car and mechanical support, coached group sessions, three clinics offering expert advice by team staff and athletes and a welcome pack.
Flights and travel insurance are not included. Additional coaching options during the week include: underwater video analysis of swimming technique, massage therapy, physiotherapist and doctor on site, strength & conditioning and injury prevention program.
