Culprit Bicycles has announced the launch of its new component line. The new products have been under development for approaching three years and are now ready for public viewing and pre-orders via an Indigogo crowd-funding campaign.
The new Covert Op Cockpit design has patented features for Culprit’s Aero Stem and Clip on Aero Bars. According to the company, the design features were focused on aerodynamics and ease of fit, use and travel.
The unique design features of the stem include:
- Ability to hide and access Di2 control boxes and hide them out of the wind
- Ability to run internal routing through the stem while still havinge access to the cables for ease of assembly and travel
- Ability to stop a front brake cable and run bare inner cable only to a front brake creating a cleaner front end
The Aerobars unique features include:
- Wide range of adjustment and fit – based around comfortable arm cradles and micro adjustments for upward to 10,000 fit coordinates when combined with the stems
- Patented low stack tilt design making mid-ride adjustments and fitting easier
- Unique design allows for easier and faster packing for travel and assembly/set up
The third unique item from Culprit is its new P.E.R.K. (Portable Essential Repair Kit), which has been designed ‘for any bike to give the option to have all that a cyclist needs with them at all times packed in a clean, organized rattle free bag.’
With the option to carry in a back packet or under the saddle, the Portable Essential Repair Kit includes a mini ratchet, mini torque wrench, bits, chain break, tyre levers, CO2 and patch kit.
