For a second year KitBrix will be supporting the Toughest obstacle event as the official bag partner in OCR for both UK races at London South (Pippingford) and Milton Keynes – as well as the new Toughest race in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Conor Hancock, who finished third at the World Championships in 2016, will be battling the Elite series as his career takes a step forward in 2017, also supported by KitBrix.
“Toughest are a great team, brand and partner and we are delighted to be supporting them again for what is going to be a great year for obstacle course racing (OCR),” said Robert Aldous, Director of KitBrix. “We are also extremely excited to be given the opportunity to support and progress Conor’s career as he now focuses on getting amongst the world’s best OCR athletes after a brilliant 2016.”
Conor will run the Toughest Elite Series for Team KitBrix as well as other events around the globe and on home turf. KitBrix will be aided by Muddy Race, DryRobe and new OCR retailer MudBox to provide Conor sponsor support for 2017.
To launch this relationship, Team KitBrix along with Conor will be visiting the Toughest Lab on the weekend of 11-12 February in Malmo, Sweden. From here, OCR fans will get a chance to watch Conor live on Facebook attacking some Toughest obstacles. Live filming will take place on Saturday 11 February at 15:00 GMT.
