Taking place in Victoria House in central London, the opening evening of Rouleur Classic was a star-studded affair – with beer and champagne flowing in abundance for the crowds of cycling fans/consumers that gathered to take in the premium cycling show. Being able to rub shoulders with Bradley Wiggins in the bar – and with complimentary food & drinks at the show on Thursday evening – a real buzz was in the air.
Sponsored by Maserati, and running from 2-4 November 2017, the theme for this year’s Rouleur Classic is The Monuments, five legendary one-day races that are highlights of the season for cycling fans – Milan-Sanremo, Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix, Liège-Bastogne-Liège and the Tour of Lombardy. Rouleur Classic is officially partnered with all the race organisations; and over the coming days that the show continues to run, it will be helping the events bring the unique qualities of each race to London audiences.
Despite an entry fee of £130 (plus booking fee), the Thursday evening at Rouleur Classic was once again sold out. It would take a monumental effort to drink £130 worth of the free-flowing cycling themed beer at Rouleur Classic. Although, some in attendance appeared to be giving it a good go! But the Thursday evening at Rouleur Classic isn’t just about the complimentary booze. It’s an opportunity for cycling fans to get together, take in some interesting speakers, check out the latest exhibitor product offerings, and of course hang around in the bar and chat with like-minded individuals.

As in its previous two award-winning years, the Rouleur Classic will showcase unique experiences created exclusively for the passionate cycling fan. This year’s event will include a World of Speed showcase with an insight into cutting edge developments in time trialling, multiple WorldTour kit launches, a Mavic service course and ‘A History of Elite Performance’ presented by Saddleback.
