The 2018 ITU World Triathlon Series has reached the seventh stop on its calendar with the 2018 ITU World Triathlon Montreal playing host to the penultimate race of the season. As the second Canadian held race of this year, after Edmonton, the series organisers are ‘eager to return to the French-Canadian city as it debuted into the WTS family just last year.’
Elite races are set to take place on Saturday and Sunday, August 25-26, with athletes looking to secure last-minute ranking points before the ITU World Triathlon Grand Final in Gold Coast, Australia next month where world championship title are crowned.

The time has finally come for the penultimate event of the 2018 World Triathlon Series. Continuing the journey in Canada, the season returns for the 2018 ITU World Triathlon Series Montreal race for only the second time, after first debuting on the WTS calendar just last year in 2017. Hosting the fourth Olympic-distance race of the year, the elites will tackle a course that guides them on a tour of the historic streets of the Old Port of Montreal in an effort to gain as many points as possible before the Grand Final in Gold Coast next month.
